As the future Business Applications Manager, you will collaborate with a worldwide and varied team aimed at maximizing the efficiency of our core systems and processes. Your efforts will greatly contribute to assisting and training team members, promoting a seamless connection between various applications and digital resources.

You will be based at our Copenhagen office, working closely with colleagues in Copenhagen, Cyprus, and Singapore—as well as with business stakeholders and support functions.

Some travel to other NORDEN locations may be part of the role.

The task that awaits you
To be more specific you will together with the rest of the team, be responsible for tasks such as:

  • Evaluating and enhancing the utilisation of our business applications and associated processes.

  • Contributing to projects focused on the implementation of applications, new processes and the integration of various systems.

  • Training and support activities.

  • Promoting process and system alignment across the organisation.

  • Take the lead on projects, depending on your experience and interest.

Though IMOS VIP is your primary focus, you will be involved in other applications as well e.g., SEDNA, Portlog, ShipFix and other applications used by the business.

Your core qualifications
Our ideal candidate is curious and motivated to broaden their understanding in a varied international trading landscape.

Further, to thrive in this position, you should be able to see yourself in the following:

  • You have shipping knowledge and a background in operations, control, finance or laytime.

  • You have experience working with shipping business applications and are familiar with IMOS VIP.

  • You hold a natural interest in technology and digitalisation.

It is not a demand that you have worked as an Business Applications Manager or similar before. What is more important is that you have worked within the field of shipping for example on the user side of applications.
