Are you ready to learn and grow in the world of global trade?
As part of NORDEN’s purpose to enable smarter global trade, we are invested in a continued development of the maritime industry. Therefore, we are continuously looking for future colleagues who are eager to learn, grow and contribute to the ever-evolving world of shipping.
As we celebrate and welcome diversity, we offer three different paths to shape a solid shipping foundation, depending on your educational background and preferred ways of learning. All of which you will get the chance to test theory in practice in a culture that values curiosity and leverages challenges to fuel personal and professional growth.
You can either initiate your career as a Student Assistant, Shipping Trainee or an Intern. Below you can read more about the different opportunities in NORDEN.
All three opportunities offer you a structured and tailored programme that gives you insights into the world of global shipping and trade by exploring different business areas, projects and clients. You will be paired with a dedicated manager, mentor and buddy – all experienced shipping professionals who will guide you on the way, provide you with feedback, encourage you to work independently and help you grow in your role.
With offices all around the world, your network will grow significantly and you will become part of a multicultural, informal and social environment with colleagues and counterparts.
We asked our current Trainee, Daniel Visby Brændstrup, to share a piece of his Traineeship so far: “What surprised me most was how much trust and autonomy I was given. I quickly learned that at NORDEN, Trainees are valued and empowered to make a difference. The most surprising part to me is how quickly you become part of the team and are trusted with meaningful work. You’re not just observing; you’re contributing to the company’s success from day one.”
