At NORDEN, we enable global trade by leveraging data-driven insights to manage risk, provide efficient freight solutions and ensure robust governance.
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Business Partnering team in Copenhagen. The team acts as a strategic advisor across commercial and support functions, delivering financial insight, performance management and actionable insights that enhance decision-making, efficiency and transparency.
You will be a trusted partner requiring business acumen and effective communication skills. As we build long-lasting stakeholder relationships in the organisation, we expect that service excellence is your trademark.
Become a member of a dynamic and analytical team
You will join a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, sparring and social activities are part of everyday life. We value both professional development and supportive working relationships.
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner who is curious by default, seeks improvement and looks for smarter, simpler and more value-creating solutions for our support functions. Our purpose is clear, ensuring that the NORDEN business platform maintains its highly competitive market position in global shipping.

Thus, we offer you an opportunity to become part of a listed shipping company characterised by a high aiming culture, in which your solid knowledge will be applied in a strategically oriented and commercially driven environment. You will gain substantial knowledge about the financial aspects of international business, and your toolbox will be loaded.
Enhance business efficiency
In this role, you will take on a broad range of responsibilities, being the primary Finance Business Partner for the support functions in NORDEN, assisting our support functions in working smarter, more efficient and delivering on their strategic targets. Core responsibilities include:
- Ensure transparency in group cost (OPEX and G&A), including budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting and identifying improvement opportunities, e.g. allocation setup for our G&A costs or similar.
- Conducting ongoing analyses on cost levels and productivity levels, creating insights about organisational bandwidth, workload and performance.
- Improving and automating workflows related to invoicing, accounts payable and payments.
- Building and automating data models and dashboards (SQL, Power Automate, PowerApps, PowerBI) to increase transparency, support decision making and make workflows more efficient.
Looking ahead, the role will include supporting the adoption of technical tools and emerging AI-driven solutions to optimise processes and improve financial partnering even further.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- A master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Applied Economics, Business Administration and Economics or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience from FP&A, consulting, business controlling, corporate finance or a similar analytical role.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps).
- An analytical and structured mindset, as you will interact with a wide range of stakeholders and elevate existing ways of working based on data and insights.
- The ability to communicate complex financial topics concisely to non-financial stakeholders and senior executives.
